Welcome to Collexa. This application is designed specifically for the students of Bahria University to facilitate communication and content sharing.

1. Information We Collect

To provide you with a secure and functional experience, we collect the following types of data:

A. Authentication Data (Strictly Necessary)

We restrict login access to authorized university students only. To enforce this, we collect and store:

• Email Address: Specifically your official Bahria University email (e.g., studentID@student.bahria.edu.pk). This is used strictly for authentication and identity verification.

B. User-Generated Content

Collexa allows you to share posts. We collect:

• Photos and Media: Images or files you voluntarily upload to share in posts.
• Text Content: The captions or messages included in your posts.

C. Device & Usage Data

The app may collect standard log information to improve stability, including:

• Device Internet Protocol (IP) address
• Device name and operating system version
• Time and date of your use of the Service

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the collected data for the following purposes:

• Verification: To ensure that only valid Bahria University students can access the community.
• Functionality: To display your shared posts and media to other students within the app.
• Support: To troubleshoot crashes or technical issues.

3. Data Deletion (Google Play Compliance)

To request data deletion, please follow these steps:

1. In-App: Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account (if available).
2. By Email: Send a request to support@collexa.bcshub.studio with the subject line "Request for Account Deletion". Please send this from your university email for verification.

Upon receiving a request, we will delete your account and remove your posts from our servers within [e.g., 30] days, unless we are required to retain data for legal obligations.

4. Third-Party Services

5. Security

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. However, remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

6. Children’s Privacy

These Services are intended for university students. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers.
